This system utilizes a three stage configuration:
1st stage sediment filter - removes sediment, dirt, rust, bad taste and odor down to 1 micron
2nd stage carbon block filter - removes VOC's, assorted chemicals, and additional contaminants .5 microns
3rd stage nano-filtration that - removes waterborne bacteria, virus, cysts, and heavy metals to .015 microns
Extensive testing:
All filters have been tested and rated for VOC reduction by meeting the testing requirement of NSF/ANSI Standard 53; aesthetic quality by meeting the requirements of NSF/ANSI Standard 42 and microbiological contamination reduction by meeting the testing requirements of Standard P231.
