Below is an example of one of twenty eight, 20" BDC3000SL Commercial Slimline systems that were installed throughout a small Guatemalan village. The intent was to supply pure drinking water for the entire population. (Approximately 900 inhabitants.) The primary ’municipal’ water source is a large natural lake that contains agricultural, viral and bacterial contamination. The incidence of disease was significant throughout the entire population. As a result of the inclusion of these systems in the infrastructure of the village, waterborne illness has been eliminated. |
