Our new exclusive germicidal UV lamp will keep the distilled water in the storage tank free of contamination. Distillation to initially clean the water, ultra-violet to keep the water from re-contamination from any outside source - (Airborne or waterborne bacteria could potentially contaminate water in the storage tank via the venting system that is present in all distillers.) This is an added ‘homeland security’ feature.
